owner + stylist

Receiving a BFA in photography and art history minor from Indiana University, owner Danny Cheshire’s artistry is evident in his craft. With each style he strives for that lived in no-fuss ease with a twist. Like the bohemian rockstars from the 60’s and 70’s that most inspire him.

Danny first gained attention early in his career with crop cuts, pixies, and textured bobs. He was included in the popular, Indy Monthly hair issue, highlighting Indianapolis’ most talented stylists. Danny was also an educator for Bumble and bumble and trained extensively at their NYC headquarters. He went on to co-own the French Pharmacie for 10+ years. There he also curated and opened French Pharmacie Flea, a home and decor studio highlighting another major passion, design. 

Behind the chair, Danny has found new love in creating popular modern shags using a straight razor. Mastering this tool has led him to creating fashion forward personalized fringe, bangs, and face framing- which he strongly believes every haircut should possess in some aspect. Danny loves dimensional color and lived in highlights.

Bee has been at the hair game for as long as she can remember. Curls are her religion and always wearable cuts and color are her jam. Bee is always thankful to get her hands in hair, finding joy in others finding their own beauty. Her favorites include short fades, pixies, curly hair, helping people find their perfect shapes, grey blending, blowouts, blonde work.  She does it all. Come as you are! Bee is a mama bear through and through. She loves to ride her bike, go on hikes, and especially loves to put her feet in water.

Charity is our crazy talented virgo and korean pop music lover. As a stylist Charity loves color the most but can also cut some fierce shags with a razor. She is a certified crusty old dog owner and loves all things “nerd”. In contrast her radness definitely reveals itself behind the chair with  unique, customized color formulas . She is a big bang enthusiast ( the fringe kind not the t.v. show) . Charity is building her book and we suggest you hop on this train sooner rather than later because we cannot emphasize how creative and talented this romantasy book fan is. “Romantasy books” …i think she made up that phrase but we are here for it….

Corbin is like a wizard. A color wizard. Known for his customized and elevated formulas that eat? Ate? No crumbs ? whatever the cool kids say. Lived in looks, fantasy, and natural looks, Corbin is a (chef kiss) color artisan. He was handpicked and highlighted in Indy Monthly’s Best of hair issue, a well deserved accolade. Corbin only cuts bob length and longer hair and thus focuses more on the color, balayage, highlight side of hair dressing. Corbin is a sagittarius, curious, honest, and loathes constraints of any kind. He loves popcorn and is a gamer, “monster hunter” being his personal fave at the moment.

stylist

Jacob is a sweet old soul with over a decade of experience in the industry.

He loves vivids and fantasy colors. Big transformations, fades, pixies, lived in colors, shags, wolves.... anything creative. Jacob loves exploring the outdoors and camping. He loves thrifting and Ru Paul's drag race (shantay you stay!). He lives right here in the near east side of Indy happy to be working in his own community.

stylist

Kelly is a breath of fresh air. Warm and friendly to her core. She is a veteran stylist with over a decade of behind the chair experience under her work belt. She is very versatile. Equally skilled in dapper fades as big bouncy blowouts. She loves bright blondes, deep coppers and rich brunettes.  She is crazy talented with special occasion styling for brides or anyone who has a special event on the horizon.  She super duper loves extensions. Especially hand tied weft techniques. Kelly loves live music, hanging out with her daughter and fam. She is also a reality television junky and loves to chat all things "Bravo" with clients.

Paige is a true artist of the craft. Versatile af. She loves big transformations, pixies, shags, vivids and fantasy challenges, and alternative cuts.  She loves tiktok , festivals and festival hair, and the beach. Paige travels to St. Pete Florida every few months to take care of clients there. Lucky for us Paige resides in Indy most of the time to be closer to family. Paige is upbeat, effervescent and loves a ki ki with friends. Paige has been at this since her early teen years taking cosmetology courses in high school. It's pretty clear she found her calling in life.
